Like most Americans, seasoned DC columnist Petula Dvorak is not pleased to see the president remaking some of our most iconic monuments and public open spaces of the Mall. Her recent “Persisters” column gives a shout out to National Mall Coalition chair Judy Scott Feldman’s longtime Mall advocacy. The Coalition’s Call to Action is urgent: We need a comprehensive 3rd Century National Mall Plan for the future of our democracy and all Americans to update the one from 1902!
